The eligibility criteria to seek direct admission for the M.Tech. in Mechanical Design course at IIT Delhi includes meeting the approved shortlisting criteria for that particular programme, which includes a requisite CGPA/percentage and minimum GATE score. Only candidates who have already applied to the programme and have not accepted any seat in any round of COAP-2025 at IIT/IISc are eligible to participate in the spot round admission. Selection is based on GATE score, subject to meeting the requisite CGPA/percentage and minimum GATE score as per approved shortlisting criteria.
