IIT Delhi OBC cutoff 2025 for JEE Advanced is yet to be released. However, during the last round cutoff in 2024, the JEE Advanced closing ranks for BTech admission varied between 89 and 3185 in the All India quota. In the first round, the cutoff ranks were more competitive for admission compared to the final round. Therefore, based on last year's cutoff ranks, a JEE Advanced rank of 7000 does not allow for admission at IIT Delhi for any BTech or Integrated BTech courses for students belonging to the OBC AI category.

IIT Delhi faculty members contribute to India in many ways, including research, education, and leadership roles. IIT Delhi faculty have actively participated in the formation of government committees and helped formulate policies on science, technology, education, and infrastructure. Their deep understanding of technological advancements and their practical application ensures that policies are not only well-informed but also forward-thinking, keeping in mind India's long-term development goals. Many IIT Delhi faculty members have served as advisors to state and central governments, contributing to critical sectors such as defense, healthcare, manufacturing, and education. Their input has resulted in major advancements in public-private partnerships and the creation of frameworks that encourage innovation, entrepreneurship, and technology transfer. The Institute's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Centre (IEDC) and Technology Business Incubator (TBI) have supported the commercialization of many research ideas, resulting in the establishment of successful ventures in sectors, such as Healthcare, Agritech, Edtech, and Environmental Sustainability. Professors often collaborate with their students to co-found companies that provide innovative solutions to address challenges in these sectors.
