Aspirants have to complete JEE application process to become eligible for admission in a IIT Delhi BTech course. The application process for the national-level exam is carried out via online mode. The step-by-step process to apply is explained below:Step 1: Visit the official website of IIT Delhi. On rhe homepage, click on ‘Admissions’. From the drop-down menu, click on ‘Announcements’.Step 2: Click on the ‘Apply Now’ button to proceed further.Step 3: The registration page opens up. Click on ‘New User Register Here'. Register by entering a few basic details such as name, email ID, contact number, course preference, etc. Also, create a password for logins.Step 4: Fill out the remaining application form by addressing other details, including guardian info, communication address, qualifications, etc.Step 5: Upload the required documents in PDF format. Also, upload a passport-size photograph and signature and JPG/JPEG format.Step 6: Pay the application fee using a debit card/credit card/net banking to submit the application.

Unless the candidate belongs to some other category, one can not afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing from round to round, better ranks definitely increases your chances of getting admission in IIT Delhi - Indian Institute of Technology.

Cut off are differant when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 117 and 419. Admission to B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering in IIT Delhi - Indian Institute of Technology is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE Advanced. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

In 2022, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 102. In 2023, it increased to 118. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 87 to 105 for OBC, 34 to 49 for SC, 18 to 24 for ST, 28 to 34 for EWS, 8 to 9 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.
