Both male and female students have access to on-campus hostel facilities at the Institute of Hotel Management, Catering Technology and Applied Nutrition (IHM) Mumbai. The boys' hostel contains 45 properly furnished rooms which house three students each per room. Similarly the girls' hostel possesses 20 large rooms that support three students per room. First-year students do not automatically receive hostel accommodation at the Institute of Hotel Management. The hostel facilities for first-year students at this institution remain unavailable because diploma programs which last 1.5 years receive higher priority. The hostel management distributes hostel seats during each semester according to student attendance records and behavioral conduct. First-year B.Sc. Hospitality and Hotel Administration enrollees do not automatically receive allocation into hostel residence. Direct contact with the hostel management will provide the most updated information about current hostel admission rules.
