LPU offers more than 250 programmes where Law is one among them. The eligibility criteria for the programme at LPU is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (any stream) with English or equivalent. My first cousin did MBA from LPU. Initially, she had confusion about whether she should join LPU or not because she had qualified CAT that too with a good percentile. She could easily get seats in any good elite B-school, but she chooses LPU after talking to her senior who had completed MBA from LPU and placed in a top-ranking MNC and that too on a lucrative package. She was worried about reviews but then Her senior told her that If you ask someone who was not eligible for in-campus placements will say that placements or college is not good and the person will find faults in everything. He suggested her not to invest so much (15-20 lacs) On MBA when majority of people are getting 5-7 Lacs as compensatory package. Mittal School of Business at Lovely Professional University is doing quite well in management studies, but it certainly isn't the best, there are a lot of better players, LPU is one of the top one. LPU is definitely good for CSE but you need to fulfill the eligibility criteria for the same to get admission in LPU. UPES Scores are not considered by LPU. For admission in LPU you need 60% in class 12th with English, Physics and Maths and LPU NEST. Also, you get direct admission in LPU if you have 90% or above in Class 12th or 90 percentile in JEE Mains. To be eligible for UGC NET exam you must secure 55% aggregate marks in your Masters' degree. If you have not secured this percentage in your distance MBA degree, you can't appear for the exam. If LPU is offering you 2nd year lateral entry for MBA programme and you get your master's degree with 55% aggregate marks scored, then you can apply for UGC NET exam by presenting that degree you received from LPU.

LPU NEST which was earlier an entrance exam is not mandatory this year due to pandemic of COVID-19. Now LPU has announced one more scholarship named as "covid-19 frontline scholarship", this scholarship will be conferred to the corona virus survivors worth rupees 20 crore. To facilitate more to the aspiring candidates LPU has started providing scholarships on the basis of previous two qualifications, for example: if you are seeking an admission in B.Sc. Forensic Science then you could be conferred a scholarship either on the basis of your 12th class percentage or 10th class percentage. Thus, Online Admission is already started and one can proceed to take online admissions through their website www.lpu.in. If any candidate assumes that he/she will definitely get minimum 60% aggregate marks in 12th grade.
