Located in the state of Karnataka, the Department of Pre-University Education, Karnataka was founded in 1966 and now has over 2,770 board exam centres. The Karnataka PUC board is in charge of holding the annual final examination for second-year pre-university education in March. Each student takes the Karnataka PUC exam in six topics, comprising two language courses and four more subjects from the Arts, Science, or Commerce streams.
