Review of Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, Manipal Academy of Higher Education.
Placements: I am working at Arihant Eye Centre after completing the course here. I got to know about it from my friend, so I applied for it and cleared it. In our college, I had a job during training, but they offered the lowest package of 25,000 per month, so I looked for a job on my own.
Infrastructure: I love the college administration. For getting admitted into the course of post graduate degree, it's very essential to clear the entrance exam. Sports systems are well-planned in the college, and only the curious candidates are allowed to participate in sports.
Faculty: I have good faith in professors. They play a crucial role in helping us pass exams, which happen annually. Professors have hands-on practical experience and in-depth knowledge about the courses. The worst thing about the academics is that professors are impatient in dealing with a large number of students.

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA Professional) - Batch of 2027

The infrastructure is top-notch. Placements are getting better.
Placements: In our college, last year's placements were higher than before, but since most students' parents already own businesses, they started working there. The highest package is 28 LPA, and the lowest is 3.5 LPA. Deloitte is the top recruiter. All students go for internships. The top role offered is a manager.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available everywhere. The infrastructure is good; it has air conditioning throughout, along with smart boards and projectors in each classroom. The hostel is very nice, with on-demand cleaning and 24/7 medical facilities. We have a basketball court inside the hostel, and there are many sports facilities on campus, including table tennis, gym, volleyball, cricket, football, badminton, and tennis courts. The food is also very good with a wide variety, including vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. During festivals, they prepare special meals.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and most are Ph.D. scholars. The quality of teaching is good when you attend classes; if you only do it on your own, you won't grasp or learn much. The curriculum is relevant, though sometimes it can be overly theoretical, but they try to include assignments and projects that help a lot. The mid-semester is more difficult than the end sem. There is relatively grading so on that depends the passing on each subject and the performance of students.
Other: I chose this course because I had an interest in it. I got to learn a lot and the business fest teaches u real-life things. I wish there were more assignments and I hate one subject called managerial studies all theory wishes could make it interesting. You will all kinds of people everywhere due to the fest and all its activities. You will learn a lot.

My honest review about my college.
Placements: Truly speaking, if you go to IIT, you never going to see 30% placement in civil, and the ones placed actually booked for toppers, it happens same as in my college. But at my time, there were more than 450 companies that came and almost 80% placement in that year from our college (core and non-core both guys). Its a dumb thing if you think this was great as non-core was just waste which I think since I always have a passion for engineering. Did my internship in college itself under my faculty members. It was truly amazing and exciting as I had never felt.
Infrastructure: Hostels were much better compared to other colleges in the infrastructure and the kind of facilities provided. There were enough rooms to fit in all the students plus all options were available single (AC/non-AC) and double (AC/non-AC). Hostels were not so bad, they were above average. Charges for the hostels were Rs 6,000 per year and for mess Rs 2,300 per month.
Faculty: I could bet on the fact that Khalsa has one of the most amazing faculty for English honors and as for the course. I think everyone will agree to the fact that literature was the most interesting subject to study because it not only helps you understand. Course was too necessary for me because I wanted to become a lecturer, and M.A. had the minimum demand for it. My teachers were highly qualified and professional. They always supported us.

My honest review of my college.
Placements: Placements and job opportunities are pretty good as much as compared to the best engineering colleges in India, companies such as Amazon, Microsoft, Google, GE, Yamaha, Honeywell, TCS, Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Maruti, Goldman Sachs, and many more. Packages core packages go up to a maximum of 18 LPA, the average is around 6 LPA, and MRCs offer around 3 LPA-3.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Hostels are much better compared to other colleges in terms of infrastructure and the kind of facilities provided. There are enough rooms to fit in all the students, plus all options are available like single (AC/non-AC) and double (AC/non-AC). Mess food is good in terms of hygiene, but for obvious reasons, it becomes boring if you eat there every day. The exams in the college are a little on the difficult side, but I feel that is what prepares and makes the students of MAHE different from the students of other colleges. The curriculum also includes modern electives.
Faculty: The course structure is good enough in terms of understanding the concept, but it is not up to the mark when it comes to focusing on research selection of electives, which is based on the CGPA, and students with higher CGPA usually fill the seats for more preferred electives. There is specialized faculty for every subject, most of whom are Ph.D. or have a minimum of a Master's in the subject they teach. The faculty is very much interested in helping interested students. Motivating and keen on students going into the research side and developing things rather than simply looking for jobs.

Dissatisfied with placements.
Placements: Placements at Manipal University were just average, with only 40% of students securing placements. The placement cell was not responsive, and internships were not provided by the college. Students had to find internships and jobs on their own. The top recruiting companies were Asian Paints and Wipro.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college was good, but according to me, it was not value for money. Wi-Fi, labs, and digital classrooms were available for students. Sports facilities were not available, and only academics were focused. Residing in the hostel was quite expensive, but the food quality was good.
Faculty: Faculty was good and well-educated, but they were not polite to students. Their teaching quality was average. The course curriculum was relevant, but it did not make students industry-ready. The semester examinations were easy to qualify, but students had to purchase unnecessary additional courses apart from tuition fees.
