Good college overall but not value for money because of low placement stats.

Placements: Placements for ECE are good, with over 85% of students securing placements in recent years. The average package is around 6-7 LPA, with top offers reaching around 20 LPA+. Students also choose software roles in addition to core electronics jobs. Recruiters include Microsoft, Intel, and Samsung. However, off-campus placements are quite impressive.

Good hostels and infrastructure however not that good placement.

Placements: Placements at the campus are decent, especially for students from CSE. Almost 75 to 80 percent of the eligible students usually got placed, and the average package is around 9 LPA-11 LPA for CSE and close to that for ECE. Top offers by the companies are above 50 LPA. Most of the top-tier companies or top tech companies hiring are Microsoft, Amazon, and Google. The lowest package offered is around 4 LPA to 5 LPA.

Absolutely satisfied, got government seat though.

Placements: The college is known for fostering a diverse learning environment and is attached to two government hospitals and a private hospital, giving exposure to all types of clinical skills, and a good reputation, especially abroad. It is highly regarded both nationally and internationally.

Good if you want a hill life and can afford it.

Placements: For placements, highest CTC was 68 LPA. The average CTC was 12 LPA. The median CTC was 9 LPA. For internships, the average monthly stipend was Rs. 38,000, and the median stipend was Rs. 30,000. These were the statistics shown to me during the 2025 orientation. I do not have much idea about this year. The placement offers and opportunities were satisfactory.

Amazing facilities, great faculty, and student life.

Placements: From what I've heard from seniors, placements are decent, with most students getting tech jobs. Few opt for core roles. Students who opt to pursue a Master's degree are excluded from the placement pool, and so are those who get placed through an off-campus internship.

Good facilities, great location, great weather.

Placements: Around 80% of students get placed. The highest package is 80 LPA, the average package is 28 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Top recruiters include companies like Amazon and Google. Almost 99% of students get internships from various companies like JPMorgan. The top roles offered are coding positions in finance and AI.

SRM vs LPU vs Manipal for B.Tech Biotechnology — which is better for placements?

For Biotechnology, I wouldn't compare colleges only by the highest package. Core biotech opportunities, research exposure, internships and recruiter mix matter more.

Manipal has a strong research-oriented biotech setup,

MSLS B.Sc. Biotechnology does not use a central online portal for public choice-filling.

Offer letters and round updates go directly to registered email IDs rather than being posted publicly on the main portal.
