At PG level, Manipal Institute of Technology provides full-time degree course in Master of Comuter Applications (MCA). While there is no particular dresscode in the campus but while attending academic areas i.e., classes, labs, mess, library etc. students are instructed to wear formals and clothes should be neat, clean and pressed i.e., presentable Boys can wear Clean and pressed Trousers and collared shirt; shoes and socks.While, Girls can wear Clean and pressed Salwar or churidhar with kameez / trousers with formal shirt and formal footwear.Students are restricted to wear torn dresses and related accessories, which are not in keeping with the decorum of the institution.One can wear anything outside academic areas. 

The formula used to calculate theCGPAis as follows(Gpa1* credit1 + gpa2* credit2 +.)/ Total no of creditsWhere, gpa1 is gpa in first semester,            Credit 1 is number of credits in first semester,             Gpa2 is gpa in second semester,            Credit 2 is number of credits in second semester .This is how cumulative GPA is calculated.I hope this helps!

Generally, if any student miss out any internal exam then there are two options1.Leave that exam and concentrate on the upcoming exams and get very good score in all other exams so that one internal won't effect your gpa as end semester would be the most important exam.2. If you have a very valid reason for your absence, then you can talk with your respective professor or dean of your branch and request them to re-conduct the exam for you.If nothing works out you can add up your extra curricular activities related credit to your course credits so that finally you'll be on safe side.I hope this helps!
