You can get a seat in Manipal without giving the examination. If you're an NRI or if you have an NRI sponsor check out the criteria at https://www.manipal.edu/mu.html.

-There's but just one way to crack any exam (except maybe jee advance) to prepare all your topics, get atleast the basics cleared.
- There *might* be quite a few simple topics not taught in class which would be included in MU OET, see their syllabus, goggle the topics and prepare. But otherwise most of the questions would fall under average category, formula based/ subjective.
-In addition to PCM, you'll have English grammar questions. If you have good English, it'd be a plus point.
-When I gave MU OET, we had to answer 240 questions in 180 minutes. Seems like they have reduced the number of questions to 200 this exam onward.
Which gives you around 50 seconds to attempt 1 question.
-My suggestion would be to answer those questions which you think you can solve within 20-25 seconds at first. Bookmark the questions you think you can do but probably would take much time. Once done, try solving the bookmarked questions. In last 5 minutes, randomly answer all the known/unknown answers leftover.

MIT Manipal is better than MITWPU for CSE. MIT Manipal was established in 1957. Whether MITWPU was first MIT College of Engineering that was established in 1983. In 2017 MITCOE and MIT got converted into MITWPU. And came under World Peace University. MIT Manipal is far better. MIT Manipal is among top private Colleges in India. MIT Manipal is stood 39th in Rankings of University and Colleges in NIRF 2018. They are ranked 12th by India Today 2017 and 15th by Outlook 2017. There Infrastructure is far better compared to MITWPU. Recently MIT Manipal got 'Institute of Emmince' tag from HRD Minstry. Choice is yours. Both are good But MIT Manipal is better for CSE. There Placements are also better. And Excellent Infrastructure and Various Facilities are there for CSE/IT Branch.
For CSE go ahead with MIT Manipal.
Also do your research about these institutions. Read Reviews and all. All thr Best. !
