The location is also a big advantage for SRM it is in outer skirts of Chennai but very well connected to Chennai with local trains and buses.

Yes, for sure. Your score is good enough to get you a seat in IP and in the first round.

It'll depend on what branch you want. With 104 marks you'll get biotech, biomedical, print and media technology, automobile and aeronautical mostly. With 51000 rank, you'll get biotech and biomedical at SRM.

You'll need around 140/200 to surely get a seat in CSE in the first go.

The placements at VIT are way much good compared to all the other colleges. The college and faculty are preparing all the students to get placed in all of the leading companies. VIT has also set a record for placing the most number of students in a single year. The placements are good, and the salary packages are nice. We know about the dream and super dream companies. Dream company means it offers more than 10 LPA, and super dream company means, it offers 30 LPA. If you want to get a job in super dream company, then you have to maintain CGPA 9 in every semester.

Mechanical engineering is really good at Manipal Institute of Technology. The faculty is also very skilled and there are amazing labs for practical experience in the branch. There are a lot of clubs relating to mechanical engineering as well.
