I don't think you'll get a seat in civil directly but you can give your name for the waitlist or go for branch change at the end of 1st year. You might get it. Civil gets over around 15k.

CSE branch in Manipal was really good. The faculty is amazing and there are many clubs for cs enthusiasts. We have hackathons regularly too. The placement for CS is also very good. Companies like Microsoft and Oracle also come for recruitment.

When it comes to mechanical, MIT is really good. There are well equipped labs, good library, good infrastructure, learned professors, a lot of student projects which are funded by the college upto a certain extend( there's no funding in VIT).

The fees for NRI in Aeronautical engineering will be somewhere around Rs.3 lakhs. We do not deal with Aircraft maintenance here. It is not approved by DGCA.

I am not very sure if you'll get a seat. The seats for CSE are already full. You can give your name for waitlist. Considering your rank if there are any seats available later, then you'll have a better probability of getting in.
