NIT Kurukshetra is better college than NIT Hamirpur because NIT Kurukshetra provides good course curriculum, good quality of faculty members, good placements and good computer labs also.

Mechanical Engineering is one of the best branches of NITH. Every year, almost 90 students get passed out and almost have job in their hand. Faculty of the Mechanical branch is very much experienced and Creative.

It totally depends on your choice, because we can't compare two branches. If you desire for CSE, go for IIIT, or else go for NIT -Hamirpur. Choose wisely. If you are asking for infrastructures, then NIT Hamirpur is well established and IIIT is
