- The MAT 2026 December session registrations are ongoing for admission to the MBA course. For the PBT mode, the last date to register is Dec 14, 2026, for the exam scheduled on Dec 20, 2026. For CBT mode, the last date to register is Dec 21, 2026, for the exam taking place on Dec 27, 2026.
- The CMAT 2027 registrations for admission are expected to begin soon. The exam will be conducted on Feb 7, 2027.
- IIT JAM 2027 registration process for admission to the MSc course has concluded. The exam will be conducted on Feb 14, 2027.
- GATE 2027 City allotment notification for admission to the ME/MTech and Phd will be announced on Jan 4, 2027. The exam will be held from Feb 6 to Feb 7, 2027; Feb 13 to Feb 14, 2027; and Feb 20 to Feb 21, 2027.

1: NIT Hamirpur Application Process 2027
Students wanting to take admission at NIT Hamirpur are required to complete the application form for the course-specific entrance exam. After appearing for the respective entrance exams, candidates have to apply for the counselling process for the final seat allotment. However, candidates need to apply on the institute's website for MBA and PhD courses. Aspirants need to pay INR 1,200 for MBA and PhD (INR 600 for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates).
2: Selection Rounds
For its flagship BTech course, NIT Hamirpur admits students with a valid JEE Main score. Candidates are allotted seats through JoSAA Counselling. Admission to MTech is through GATE, followed by CCMT Counselling. Similarly, for MSc admission, IIT JAM and CCMN Counselling are required. However, NIT Hamirpur MBA admissions are done through exams such as CAT, CMAT and MAT (order of preference). The institute conducts a written test and/ or interview for admission in the PhD course.
3: Release of Cutoff list, Counselling

Aspirants with Class 12 marks can apply for BTech and BArch programmes of NIT Hamirpur. Candidates need to pass Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with a minimum of 75% aggregate. CCMT Counselling registration process is conducted in an online mode. - Candidates will also be required to upload a scanned copy of the GATE scorecard. The format of the scorecard should be GIF/PNG/JPG/JPEG/BMP and the size should be between 50 KB to 200 KB.
- Before the CCMT registrations, candidates must generate passwords. Submission of the application form will be done after all submitted details are reviewed. After the completion of registration, a unique registration number will be generated.'

Step 6 - Choice Filling and Locking: Candidates have to select their choice of colleges and courses during the allotted time.
