The total tuition fee is INR 5 lakh. This fee is calculated as per the official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. The data available on unofficial sources and hence is subject to change. Moreover, students also have to pay for Hostel Charges of INR 2.46 lakh and One-time Payable charges of INR 13,000, separately.
The total tuition fee for NIT Hamirpur MBA course is INR 1.4 lakh. Moreover, the applicants also have to pay the application fee, which is INR 1,200 for general category students. However, for SC/ST students, the fee is INR 600. The fee payment is accepted in online mode. However, this fee is calculated as per the official website/ sanctioning body and is subject to change. Placements: In electrical engineering department at my college, the placement rate is around 95 percent. There is a decent package of placements of around 22 Lacs and the highest package is I guess 55-60 Lacs. Well, the rates are gradually increasing, the level of education and placement is increasing day by day.
Placements: Students become eligible from 7th semester. Companies like Amazon DeShaw Salesforce Deloitte etc visit here. They respectively take a good number of students. The highest package offered is 80LPA by DeShaw and average package is around 13 to 15LPA. 93 percent of students are placed. I am also planning to sit in the placements and go into the development field.

Top recruiters are Samsung, Dell, and Oracle.
Placements: Placements are excellent. Recent years show great placement sessions for CSE placement index is 92% for mechanical, and it was 99%. A student of the mechanical engineering department got placed at 205 LPA on campus placement in an international company. Placements for other branches are also good.
Placements: About 80% to 90% of the students of the ECE branch have been placed in different core and tech companies like Google, Microsoft, JP Morgan, Atlassian, Samsung, Nvidia, etc. 68 LPA is the highest package offered for two students in the ECE branch, the average package is around 18 LPA, and the lowest package is 6 LPA. But overall, the highest package is around 2 crore per annum offered to an MNC branch student in game development. The CSE branch average package is 27 LPA in 2025. Around 30% to 40%...

Yes, NIT Hamirpur recognises the merit of students and financially aids the economically weaker students with scholarships and special grants. The Deemed University has collaborated with more than 15 profit and non-profit organisations to offer scholarships to the deserving students.
