Below mentioned are the details of some of the NIT Rourkela Scholarships:Post-Matric Scholarship (PMS): SC/ ST students are eligible for Post-Matric Scholarship (PMS) of the respective State Governments if they satisfy the norms set by the State Government.Top Class Scholarship: Among the admitted students in the first year top 12 SC students and top 5 ST students are eligible for the scholarship by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, GOI and the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, GOI provided their parental annual income is below INR 4.5 lakh.GATE Scholarship: Students who have taken admission through GATE are eligible for a scholarship of INR 8,000 per month.PhD scholarship: A PhD student with MTech/ MPharm degree and within the age limit is eligible for an Institute research fellowship for four years. The students will get INR 31,000 per month for the first two years and INR 35,000 per month for the next two years on satisfactory performance.
