The highest package is 85 Lacs average is 12 Lacs. Companies like google, oracle, tata visited this college.
Infrastructure: One of the beautiful college in Odisha. Good infrastructure and beautiful buildings are present over here. Many courses and many are also present here. Many facilities like Wi-Fi in rooms, many labs, big classrooms, and a big library also at here. Quality of food in our mess is also very good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and Knowledgeable. Teaching quality is very good. Semester exams are very hard in this college. You have study well to clear all the exams. If you have back in a paper you have to clear this in Next semester. Pass percentage is above 6 grade.

Satisfied with the college campus.
Placements: Students become eligible for placements in the last year, which is the fourth year. About 1356 job offers are given by companies like Amazon, Oracle, Zydus, etc. According to the last year's placement percentage, 80% of students got placed in companies from our college. The maximum offer given was 66 LPA CTC, and I don't know about the least, but the average package is 7 LPA.
Infrastructure: College infrastructure is too good; when you enter the college, all you can see is the greenery part of the college. Labs are also clean and spacious. Sports are played by many students in their free time, but honestly, the college does not give any specific period of time for sports. College officials allow students to play when there is a fest or something else.
Faculty: Teachers are so helpful. Teachers also guide us in a well-mannered way and help us in our academics. Obviously, teachers don't help us in getting placements ready. The course curriculum is relevant and the same as other colleges; we have one mid-sem exam and an exam before the final exam, and the last one is the final exam. Academics are somewhat difficult because our course has a lot of mathematics in it.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to work in the core field, so electrical engineering is at the top and has scope for making a career in the core branch.

B.Tech. in Biotechnology - Batch of 2026

3Placements3Infrastructure3Faculty3Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
A college with average placement, improved infrastructure, and good (and strict) academics.
Placements: Most students get placed, but it all comes down to your skills and knowledge. If you have those skills, you will get placed. The highest package goes from INR 20 to 30 lacs if applied to non-core companies. This is because it's a research field where most of the students go for higher studies, and companies also demand more qualified students. Many students go for side options like preparing for government exams or learning coding to get placed in non-core companies; one of the seniors did a B.Tech. in Biotech but cleared GATE in the ECE department; some students here are quite good. So ultimately, there are many divergent paths other than the core field. For core companies, it's around INR 6 to 10 lacs. Biocon is the top recruiter for my branch.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure facilities are average; every facility is available: labs, classrooms, libraries, etc. Hostel facilities are average; some are old while others are new, but all hostels have basic facilities like a gym, study room, TV room, music room, etc. Coming to Mess, it's not the best but average; the food is good; some dishes are not restaurant-level, but they're good and edible. Canteens are also good, and medical facilities are available. For any problem, you get seamless and free treatment.
Faculty: Professors are qualified and knowledgeable; teaching quality is average; you have to make an effort to learn things; no spoon-feeding will be done. The course curriculum is relevant, but it is quite old. Students will be industry-ready if and only if they make an effort. Semester exams are quite hard, but students make way for themselves through last-night studies, and the pass percentage is high as most of the students pass.
Other: I chose Biotechnology as I was quite interested in it; I was not getting any circuital branches, so I preferred to go with the research field. The thing that must be improved is the curriculum; it's still very old and not up to high standards like those of foreign colleges. Events, hall fests, and clubs are abundant; every time something is happening in the college, if nothing else, then exams are going on.

Placements: Approximately 98 percent of students who apply for placement are successfully placed upon graduation. The leading companies that recruited students last year included Amazon Web Services, Flipkart, Disney, Oracle, and VISA. The primary roles offered by these companies were predominantly Software Development Engineer (SDE).
Infrastructure: The laboratories were equipped with all necessary equipment. Each department and the library have open Wi-Fi access. The hostel provides spacious rooms that can accommodate two students. The mess facilities were somewhat manageable for students from other states. Additionally, we have access to free medical services here.
Faculty: The teachers provided significant assistance and possessed exceptional qualifications. The curriculum of the course is highly pertinent and equips students to effectively tackle industry challenges. The semester examinations were notably challenging, with a passing grade set at 35, ensuring that students strive to achieve the required mark.
