What's new regarding NIT Rourkela? JEE Main Session-I application window has been extended up to April 25, click here to know more. NTA has also rescheduled the JEE Main 2022 exam dates for sessions 1 and 2 exams. JEE Mains 2022 session 1 exam will now be held from June 20 to 29 while the session 2 exam will be conducted from July 21 to 30. 

NIT Rourkela offers over 140 courses including specialisations across four streams. The college offers UG, PG and PhD courses under 20 departments. NIT Rourkela admission is primarily based on national-level entrance exams. The mode of application for NIT Rourkela is online. NIT Rourkela Scholarships 2022

Post-Matric Scholarship (PMS): SC/ ST students are eligible for Post Matric Scholarship (PMS) of the respective State Governments if they satisfy the norms set by the State Government.

Top Class Scholarship: Among the admitted students in the first year top 12 SC students and top 5 ST students are eligible for the scholarship by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, GOI and the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, GOI provided their parental annual income is below 4.5 lakh.

GATE Scholarship: Students who have taken admission through GATE are eligible for a scholarship of Rs 8,000 per month.

PhD scholarship: A PhD student having MTech/ MPharm degree and within the age limit are eligible for an Institute research fellowship for four years. The students will get Rs 31,000 per month for the first two years and Rs 35,000 per month for the next two years on satisfactory performance.
