Depending on the university or institution you are applying to, the BA LLB (Hons) selection procedure may differ. The majority of colleges mandate that applicants take admission exams, such as the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) or other exams specific to the legal field. These tests evaluate your general knowledge and current events comprehension as well as your aptitude for legal study. The institution will shortlist applicants in addition to those who passed the entrance exam, taking into account their academic standing in the twelfth grade. They might also take into account elements like leadership positions, extracurricular activities, and any pertinent employment history. Each university has a different minimum 12th class percentage needed for the BA LLB (Hons). Nonetheless, the majority of colleges need you to receive at least 45% on your 12th board exam. Certain colleges could have more stringent prerequisites, particularly for applicants under the general category. For example, the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL) requires applicants from the general category to have at least a 50% in their 12th class.
