A one-year LL.M. Post Graduation Course in Business Law, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, and International Law is available from the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL). There will be sixty (60) seats available in total for the LL.M. course.

Students in the home state general category are eligible for a specialised rate at the university. For the home state general category students, nine seats will be allotted individually. Students in the SC/ST category will be given 18 seats. Six places are set aside for students belonging to the OBC category. Candidates need to complete LLB or Five-year integrated LLB from a recognised university with an aggregate of 55% (50% aggregate for SC/ ST) to apply for Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law LLM course. Rajiv Gandhi law University offers BA LLB (Hons) and LLM course admission based on the CLAT score. The university also conducts entrance exam for admission to PhD and LLD course. The list of courses along with the accepted entrance exams is given below: 

RGNUL provides scholarships to meritorious or financially-weak students. The university offers Foundation for Excellence Scholarship. However, students can also apply for scholarships offered by state or central government. Some of the scholarships available to students are the Central Sector Scholarship Scheme of Top Class Education for Scheduled Caste Students, the Central Sector Scholarship Scheme of Top Class Education for Scheduled Tribe Students, and other need-based scholarships.

Candidates need to pass graduation in the relevant discipline from a recognised university with at least 50% aggregate (45% aggregate for SC/ ST/ PwD) to apply for RGNUL PG Diploma course. Aspirants who complete graduation degree in any stream for prison personnel can also apply for PG Diploma course.
