A one-year LL.M. Post Graduation Course in Business Law, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, and International Law is available from the Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law (RGNUL). There will be sixty (60) seats available in total for the LL.M. course.

Students in the home state general category are eligible for a specialised rate at the university. For the home state general category students, nine seats will be allotted individually. Students in the SC/ST category will be given 18 seats. Six places are set aside for students belonging to the OBC category. The RGNUL Patiala CLAT Cutoff 2026 was released for admission to the BA LLB (Hons) and LLM course for students that come under the All India quota. As per the Round 1 closing ranks for the General AI category, the cutoff rank fell in the range between 824 and 1059. The BA LLB (Hons) course had the cutoff of 1059, and all the LLM course specialisations, had the cutoff of 824.

The NLU Patiala CLAT Cutoff 2026 was released till round 2 for admission to UG and PG level law courses for various categories under the All India quota. 

For the SC AI category, the cutoff for the BA LLB (Hons) course was 9650 in the 2nd round. On the other hand for the LLM course and its variou specialisations, the cutoff was 4093. Candidates need to complete LLB or Five-year integrated LLB from a recognised university with an aggregate of 55% (50% aggregate for SC/ ST) to apply for Rajiv Gandhi National University of Law LLM course. Candidates appearing in/ awaiting results of the qualifying exam may also apply and appear provisionally for the admission test, subject to the condition that they shall produce the supporting documents.

The mode of Rajiv Gandhi Law University Patiala admission is online. Admission to various courses is based on merit and scores of entrance examinations. The accepted entrance exams are Rajiv6 and various others. Candidates applying through the CLAT entrance examination must first register for the CLAT exam.
