Both of these colleges are well enough, but I will suggest you to choose Thapar University, because it has high packages, excellent faculty members.

Probably not. It is not that worth. Also, they tend to take re-examinations quite often.

Hi Kapil, Overall, if you see, Thapar Institute offers good placement to the students in all the streams but among ECE and electronics, I would say go for ECE. It has better faculty and placement opportunity and this is the best time to get admission at Thapar Institute as the admissions have started and you just need to fill up an online form. So if you have made up your mind click here http://bit.ly/TIETAdmissions2018 to register yourself at Thapar Institute. All the best!

Thapar is a great institute, along with being a reputed institute it is also a private body. This helps a lot as the placement cells are really active in those colleges. Being from CSE branch is icing on the cake. If you work hard enough and are capable, most of the big companies visit the campus so you can get a handsome package for you. The average package may be as low as 5-6 or even 7 lacs but you can grab great offers of more than 10 even 15 lacs per annum.
