1. MERIT Scholarship - BE/ BTech Students
Merit Scholarships to the first-year UG students will be awarded on the basis of All India Rank (AIR) in JEE Mains 2025 for the year 2025-26 with the criteria mentioned against each scholarship.

Thapar University Eligibility Criteria
- Students who have cleared all the courses prescribed for the respective programme in the year of consideration will be eligible for the scholarship.
- In case a student is upgraded through the December Test in 1st year, he/she will not be eligible for a merit scholarship in 2nd year on the basis of his/her performance in 1st year.
- In case a student is eligible for more than one scholarship/free ship, he/she shall be awarded only one scholarship/free ship as per his/her preference.
