For Chemical Engineering, one must opt for Thapar Institute of Engineering and Technology. The major research activities in the Department are in the fields of Heat Transfer, Fluid Mechanics, Polymer Science & Technology, Energy Management, Biochemical Engineering, Separation Processes, Reaction Engineering, Pulp and paper, and Environmental Engineering. Any day, TIET would be a better choice.

Look, it depends upon the cut off Thapar Univertsity. According to the lists released till now, you cannot get admission in computer engineering. But, you are applicable for other branches.
