At my admission time, there was only Vellore and Chennai branch two years ago and these branches are recently opened by VIT. Let me explain you the admission system here. Rank in VIT to get admission should be 90,000. So, you can get admission in VIT from the 6th category as well. There are various categories as well with each category admission fees go high. First category closed till 15,000 rank and you can get CSE till 9000 rank and IT till 11000 rank but there are 2nd category as well if you want CSE but you have to pay more for that. Bhopal and Amravati branches are opened recently. So, the rank to VIT University may go high as expected. Can't tell which branch you get but it's sure you will get any branch from 6th category. So, you have to pay more for that.

No, you will not get Vellore or Chennai campus but definitely in Bhopal or Amravati campus.

According to me, VIT-Vellore is better option for CSE. The placement for branches like CSE, IT, ECE and EEE are fairly nice. People end up getting super dream packages worth more than INR 15Lacs per annum. Placement statistics for branches like Civil, Mechanical, and Biotech aren't as great as the other above mentioned branches. But, overall the college promises 100% placement. The highest package for our seniors this time was from CSE worth INR 24 Lacs per annum

This is the newest campus of VIT and last year students got CSE below 1 Lacs rank easily and I think its not better option to take admission in Bhopal campus because fee structure is similar to VIT, Vellore and Chennai campus somewhat. And its infrastructure is not fully completed and still its under-development
If you think to take admission in VIT, then you should refer to Vellore or Chennai campus now and if you are not getting this campus, then you should try other university or college. For mechanical, it is 198000 and for civil it is 176000.

Yes, admission in VIT is also possible from UCEED score
For admission you need fulfill the following criterion:-
The candidate should have been born on or after October 1, 1993 if belonging to the Open or OBC-NCL category and, on or after October 1, 1988 if belonging to the SC, ST or PwD category. The candidate should have qualified, I.e, obtained a rank in UCEED 2018. The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination (Class XII or equivalent) in 2017 or 2018. Those who appeared for the first time in their qualifying examination in 2017 or earlier are not eligible. I don't know much about that but u can refer from here.
