It is not easy to get computer science and engineering course at VIT University with a rank of 22204 in VITEEE.
You may try by getting in category 3, 4 or 5 that is by paying around 6-7 LPA or even more.

With this rank it is difficult to get a seat in normal fees. You need to pay a lot of fees like 6-7 lakhs per annum to get a seat through management quota. You may try for other campuses like Bhopal, Amaravathi, etc.

The difference between category 1 and 2 is nothing but the fee structure. There will be at least a difference of 1 lakh in the fee structure. Your rank determines under which category you will come and the number of seats in each

I don't think you can get it because the admissions are based on the rank secured in their VITEEE examination. So if you missed it, then you cannot get admission.

Chances of IIT Nagpur is over, as IIT is given to those who qualify JEE advanced.
JEE Mains qualified students are eligible for admission into NITs and GFITs only.
Now chances for VIT-Pune is in your range. Do try for VIT-Pune.

With 12609 rank you cannot get admission for CSE in VIT, Vellore but you may get it at the Chennai campus. So if you can pay more fee like 5 LPA then you may get the Vellore campus.

Direct admission means management quota. There is no particular fees for management quota. It will be around 7-8 lakhs per annum or even more based on the seats available or their reputation. It is decided by the management.
