VIT Vellore Answered Questions

As per my opinion, if you want to try for private universities, except VIT vellore there are other great options available like GGSIPU, Delhi or Pune universty colleges and various others in Pune where you will get good environment, good exposure and good study culture, good campus placements too. So, dont go for either of them neither NITs of low level nor VIT because, although I am not much aware but campus placements might not be as you expect from a government engineering college and after all culture around you matters the most, which you will get in metro-cities like Delhi or Pune. Choose your branch and location wisely. Give first preference to branch and then college, its the most important thing.

Hi Vivek kataria, the rank is too low to get a seat in VIT Vellore. You may get a seat only under category 3,4,or 5. Yes obviously the fees will be very high as he needs hostel also. If he gets some other government aided good college or better than VIT he may join.
The fee will be atleast Rs 4-5 lakhs per annum if he can pay that money then he can go.

No idea about VIT-Andhra, but CGC-Landran, CGC-Landran College is near Mohali. Well, Mohali is a good area college has good infrastructure, and has many facilities like hostel facility, sports complex and food courts (Mc Donald's) and much more. College life and student crowd is not so good. Infrastructure can be more developed hostel facility can be improved. Hostel residents complain about poor quality of food. Faculty is 80% well experienced. Rest is new and lacks quality teaching. Annual tuition fee is about 80 K per year. Over all, college is known for engineering course and still possess good degree value.
