VIT University is an excellent option for doing engineering degree but it will take few more years to create brand image and reputation similar to legacy IITs and NITs. Even new IITs have brand image of an IIT.

You cannot get admission in VIT without giving VITEEE. For management seats also, it is compulsory to give VITEEE. Still,you can contact with the VIT admission office if you have a genuine case.

You cannot get admission VIT because only the ranks from 1-100000 are called for counselling. So, you try to get through the other exams.

Yes, you got a good rank. You will get IT branch, but you may have to wait for the counselling process. With this rank, you will get IT in the 3rd or 4th round of counselling.

If you have got a good score and rank below 15000, you can get the main campus that is VIT-Vellore.

Hi,
Since IT is highly preferable branch of students in any college, so you need a rank below 10000 to get IT branch in category 1, you may get it with higher ranks also but in category 2, 3, 4, 5 and according to the category the fee structure
