Both are good colleges but in my opinion, you should give first to VIT, Vellore as this year, this college is ranked 1 by MHRD.

Average package of VIT, Vellore is around 4.5 lakhs per annum, and of Jadavpur University is around 6-7 lakhs per annum.

If your rank is under 20k and if you got category 1 then the total fees is around 11.5 lakhs. The fees depends on the branch you choose.
