LPU includes 3D animation as a core part of its animation‑focused degrees, especially in programmes related to animation, multimedia, and VFX design. The curriculum covers 3D modeling, texturing, rigging, lighting, and rendering, along with industry‑standard tools used in animation studios. Students work on projects that involve creating 3D characters, environments, and short sequences, which helps build a practical portfolio by the end of the course. The structure is designed to give a balanced mix of technical skills and creative storytelling without focusing only on theory.

Whether 2D or 3D animation is “more difficult” depends largely on the type of project and the skills you already have. 2D animation emphasizes strong drawing ability, timing, and expressive motion, while 3D animation adds layers of technical complexity like rigging, lighting, and rendering. Both require practice, discipline, and an understanding of movement — it's just that the tools and pipelines differ. In professional settings like Vee Technologies Animation, the choice between 2D and 3D is guided by the creative goals and technical requirements of each project, with workflows optimized to get the best result regardless of for

While 2D animation excels at providing a stylized, artistic approach ideal for quick-turnaround explainer modules, 3D animation introduces the spatial depth and mechanical realism necessary for complex technical demonstrations. The fundamental choice between them often hinges on whether the project requires the 'frame-by-frame' expressive flexibility of 2D or the 'rigging and rendering' precision that 3D offers for architectural and engineering walkthroughs. Vee Technologies IT vertical bridges this gap by delivering specialised 2D and 3D solutions that transform theoretical engineering publications into immersive, interactive ma

In my opinion AAFT is better then ICAT in animation in Delhi NCR. ICAT has strong facilities and good curriculum, but AAFT gives more internships, project work and networking with actual animation studios.
