Yes, you are eligible for MBA but not in IITs as IITs only take students who did their graduation in B.Tech or BE. Apart from that, there are various private colleges who don't consider academics during final selection.

Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur is one of the best government colleges in India and it ranks in top 5 colleges of India.
It has to offer many courses out of which industrial engineering course offered by IIT Kharagpur has about
120 seats to the students.
IIT Kharagpur is known for its infrastructure and knowledgeable faculties with about 5 to 10 years of experience teaching in college. Facilities provided by the college are really good like Wi-Fi Sports Complex and labs with better equipment and machines.
The companies that comes for the placement IIT Kharagpur for industrial engineering are as follows
Abbot | Accenture | Barclays Bank | Blue Star | CapGemini | Crompton Greaves | Deloitte | Flipkart | Google | HCL | Hero Moto Corp | HONEYWELL | HP | Indian Navy | Infosys | ITC | Microsoft | MU Sigma | Nagarro | Oracle | PricewaterhouseCoopers | Samsung | SAP | Yahoo | ZS Associates
I would like to say that it is quite good, as already 90-95% students have been placed. The companies which selected them, include some big names like Walmart Labs, Amazon, Optym and many more companies. Regarding the salary which has been offered, the average was around 11.5-12 lakhs.
The highest salary offered was around 21 lakhs.
Hope it helps.

IIT, Kanpur in no way is a better choice than IIT, Kharagpur due to various reasons.
IIT, Kanpur students enjoy lots of freedom and can feel independent as the college administration makes you feel mature enough to take rational judgements whereas norms are strict at IIT, Kharagpur.
IIT, Kanpur has an average placement of 12 LPA and highest reaching up to 23 LPA whereas in IIT, Kharagpur it is 10.5 LPA, highest reaching up to 19 lakh.
Although, the labs and all other equipment related facilities are remarkable in both the institutes but still, Kanpur campus is more vibrant than Kharagpur consisting a pool of talented minds in it.
Now, in terms of sports facilities, both the institutes provide sufficient equipment and sports related accessories but, the court at IIT-Kanpur is better and much modern than IIT, Kharagpur which is reflected in the inter IIT sports meet.

If you are taking up the branch of manufacturing science and engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur just because you are not eligible for getting any other branches in the same college then one thing is sure that you will end up with a minimum placement of around 7 to 9 lacs, in some of the corporate companies, IT firms that show up for the placement drive in the college.
Although if manufacturing science engineering really excites you and you are passionate about the branch then you might consider pursuing the same at the college.
But if you are expecting a number of high-quality core placements then you will be in for a great amount of disappointment that the college being an Indian Institute of Technology fails to provide with good core placements in the field. But if you want to increase your prospects of getting want to increase your prospects of getting placed inner core manufacturing science company then you must consider doing your Masters from overseas.
Hope you do well.
Cheers.

Hindustan Zinc Limited, Sun Pharma, Hutti Gold Mines Limited, Indian Rare Earths Limited, Biocon, OIL Limited, MSPL Limited, Glenmark, Dr.Reddy, National Aluminium Company, Fertilizer startups, Nuziveedu seeds, etc. These cover different areas like petroleum refining, Plant Process distillation, fertilizer technology, processing of food and drugs and agricultural products management, paints and dyes; recycling metals and refurbishing, glass and plastics; cosmetics, and mineral based industries for fractioning and cracking based roles.
Average package stands at 6 LPA and maximum is at 15 LPA for chemical engineering specialization.
However, past year the team for placements has been increased and should see more top companies participating for 2017-18.
Overall decent opportunities in the chemical sector with a wide variety of roles.
