The two IITs that you mentioned are the best in the country. It's almost impossible to distinguish between the two as academics, placements, and faculty are all top-notch in both these establishments. Hence I would not like to place one over the other. All faculty members are well qualified from top-ranked universities all over the world such as IITs, NITs, IIMs, etc. Faculty gives you proper knowledge about your queries no matter how many time you ask.
Placement:
Companies like Colgate Palmolive, Hindustan Unilever, Godrej Consumer, Asian Paints, Bajaj Allianz, CEAT, Rallis India, etc. visit LPU for recruitment purposes. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the. The highest package offered to B. tech student that is Rs.64 LPA from GOOGLE.
More than that LPU support the student Entrepreneurs through seed funding.
This option most of the Universities are not providing in India.
