Study really well so that you are in 90+ percentile so that you get branch and IIT of your choice.

Top recruiting companies in Indian context are TAAL, Alpha Technology etc. But some foreign companies also like Boeing, Airbus, etc. do come for campus selection.

It's good to see your dream of getting admission in IIT. Now work towards it. IIT-M is a premier institute and I feel you should be in 90 percentile bracket to get admission in course of your choice.

Firstly you should aim to score better in JEE Mains so that you become eligible for JEE Advanced. Then prepare well so that you are in the top 90+ percentile bracket.

The closing rank in 2005 will not help you at all. I would advise you to think of scoring g 300+ in JEE Mains and 90+ in JEE Advanced.

No, admission to IIT Madras is only through JEE Advanced, if you are looking for a bachelor's degree. For master's, there is GATE.
