IIT Roorkee - Indian Institute of Technology Answered Questions

In order to get into BSc at IIT Roorkee candidate must have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 75%. Further, the candidate is required to qualify JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced. IIT Roorkee admits students based on merit in JEE Main+JEE Advanced. Once the JEE Advanced results are out, students must register at the JoSAA counselling portal. Further counselling and seat allocation is done through this particular portal.Upon allocation of seat, candidates must pay partial fees on the JoSAA portal itself. After that, students will be required to report to the allocated institute in the stipulated time frame. Students will be successfully admitted upon payment of the remaining fees.

IIT Roorkee has a total of 211 seats reserved for its BSc admissions. These seats are spread across various specialisations offered under the college’s BSc programme. Amongst all the specialisations, the highest number of seats have been reserved for admissions to BSc + MSc in Mathematics and Computing. A total of 49 seats are reserved for the aforementioned specialisation. In order to get admission to this course, students must qualify JEE Mains followed by JEE Advanced.
