Sorry for answering this so late. The placement statistics are quite impressive here. Around 8 students got placed in Google MTV with a package of around 1.25 cr. Also many people get placed in Epic Systems, Goldman Sachs etc.

No, you can not, according to NSIT policy your branch only changes with respect to JEE mains rank and not your performance in that particular year which happens in IITs. your branch can change till end of first semester if someone leaves colle

Anything in NSIT is better than IPU, if only thing you are looking for is placement. All the major companies of mechanical visit NSIT. But if you are interested only in computers than go for MAIT. if you do well you can always land an off camp

No you can not, anybody who takes NSIT, has to attend college irrespective where one lives. if you live far away you can easily get hostel which is cheap and pretty good and easily available. best of luck.

Sorry, but there is no quota of any kind in NSIT. It is just that 85% seats are reserved for delhiites and the rest are for outside Delhi students. There is also reservation according to the central rules for the OBC, SC, ST, PWD. Direct admis

If you are from outside delhi, you won't be able to get admission in the COE and IT branches for which the cutoff is around 9k and 13k respectively, but if you are a delhiite you can comfortably get COE too as the cutoff stands at around 35k.
