To get a seat in NSUT for Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.), candidates need to appear for the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) or the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main, as NSUT considers these scores for admission. Additionally, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the institution, which typically includes a minimum percentage in their 10+2 examinations with specific subjects such as mathematics. The admission process involves registering for the NATA or JEE Main, applying to NSUT, and then participating in the counseling process if shortlisted. It's essential to check the official NSUT website for the most accurate and up-to-date information on the admission process, as it may change.

With a CRL general category rank of one Lacs nine thousand eight hundred two, securing a CSE seat in NITs, DTU, or NSUT will be extremely challenging. These institutions typically have much lower cut-offs, even with home state quotas. While your J&K home state quota might slightly improve chances in NIT Srinagar, getting CSE at this rank is still unlikely. You might consider other engineering branches in newer NITs or look into private universities that accept JEE Main scores.
