You don't necessarily require skills before you enroll in a degree. You could use some pre-requisites but those too are mere suggestions. The course itself is designed to teach you skills. You can use some prior knowledge of agricultural concepts, nomenclature of basic crops, attention to detail, innovation, verbal and written communication skills, and most importantly a genuine interest in the field.

All the best!

There is agood scope in the agriculture sector in both the Indian and abroad scenario. Major areas are contract farming, fertilizer, pesticide, /agrochemicals, farm forestry, horticulture etc. If you do an MBA in agribusiness management, the scope might rise even more.  You can do Masters and Ph.D. and get in teaching/research in the Agricultural Universities/ ICAR Agricultural Research Service (Central Government). Private players also offer attractive packages to skilled individuals.

Yes Akshay, you can apply for M.Sc. Agriculture at Lovely Professional University with 58% in B.Sc. Agriculture, as most M.Sc. programs generally require around 55% aggregate in the relevant undergraduate degree; admission may also involve LPUNEST for eligibility or scholarship consideration, so you are eligible to apply, and performing well in the entrance exam can help you secure a fee concession.
