Acting and anchoring can lead to a good profile in the government sector. They can start their career from college productions or if possible the theatre productions. Many auditions are conducted based on which the actors are recognized.
You need to have a good accent and good communication skills so that you become attractive. Social media websites really beneficial tools for actors looking to become better known and reputable. They should also maintain a personal website where they can upload their resume, biography, etc. which would make them recognizable among the public.
The salary of a debutant depends on the role they get. If they are a major one, then they can earn INR 30k-40k per episode or shoot and if they are not a major role then they can earn INR 10k-15k per episode or shoot.

There are very few colleges that provide BA in Acting in India like Whistling Woods International, Mumbai. But, I will suggest you to take a short term Diploma or certificate course in acting instead of looking for a full time Bachelors course. You should rather do your graduation in some other field simultaneously, as you cannot rely completely on acting as your career choice. Alternatively, you can also pursue theaters or look out for a degree in performing arts.
