Final Cut Pro is the leading editing skill software which has more demand abroad than in India. There are jobs and good salaries as well but the number is less because some easy softwares are preferred over this here. The scope is good abroad.
Why I mentioned scope is because the reason of doing higher studies or going for a job depends on whether you are interested in going abroad for jobs in FCP. Not just Hollywood but TV Channels and web series world allows good work good jobs.
Hence, my submission is to go for a job because FCP will demand on field practice.
However, if your aforesaid certificate is not able to get you a job and that

An editor in India can work for television companies or for film production houses. In television, you may get a monthly salary starting from 15,000-75,000-/ in case of films they get above 5 Lacs to 50 Lacs. To get started you have to learn film standard NLE like Avid or Final Cut Pro and assist editors, later with luck and contacts you will be picked up by film directors.

An advanced certificate (Considering it as something done from a reputed place as well as after graduation).
The answer that I gave for PG in Advertising Management prospects abroad and in India seems appropriate here:
An M.Sc in advertising management is a very popular-innovative as well as the less taken domain of studying mass media or mass communication. While doing the course, one learns how to see the need, plan, use the USP and create USP of the product in hand. The management of advertising of a particular product is to be done to see the impact. Along with this, the question demands response to career prospects for public relat

An advanced certificate/course can be taken as a specialisation in advertising management. Please refer to the answers that convey and guide in detail about this:
M.Sc in advertising management means it is a Post-Graduation and that too in one of the most complex areas of mass media and marketing in the present age. This is also stated that advertising as a specialisation remains one of the strong areas of learning.
Parallel courses must be done with care and proper selection.
Along with the Master's degree, some MOOCs - Massive Open Online Courses –

We're discussing this question whether public relations corporate communications are better or poor than camera editing or camera work jobs or careers.
There is an important observation regarding this that candidates who are good in communication skills, those who know how to handle situations, conflicts as well and those who know how to manage the interactions between one company and other stakeholders should go for PR field.
Corporate communication is also the same thing as Public Relations whereas camera work is a technical work in which you manage the camera, production of some documentaries or you do the photography, etc. It's a d

I shall not advise equally wide courses as parallel to Post Graduation in Advertising. I shall still share that there are MOOCs and some distance learning courses to enhance the Advertising Management and Public Relation Career.

You can opt for any stream you are interested in. Most advertising agencies recruit candidates with a formal management or advertising/mass communication qualification. Preference is given for MBA's for posts in the market research, client servicing and media planning departments.
In the creative department, on the other hand, a general BA with a command of the language of communication plus knowledge of designing packages like Photoshop, coral draw or fine arts is the requirement.

It is not worth doing any course which needs professional competence which is developed by personal contact with the institution and in regular classes.
There are many aspects of media-related courses and it should be clear to us that distance learning cannot develop the level of skills and competence that regular courses can do.
It is possible that one does distance learning studies when a foundational skill-set is already earned.
Please refer to the following replies as the same type of response is needed here as well (read your query subject in place of performing arts or editing):
1. Is it worth to pursue MA in performing arts (theater
