Yes, it is possible to join aeronautical engineering with DECE but I would suggest you to continue your UG with electronics and communication engineering as there is wide scope to start your career in aerospace industry after your studies.
Good luck!

Aeronautical engineering is a niche engineering branch and has lesser opportunities in comparison to core branches of engineering. AE graduates are employed by DRDO, ISRO, Indian Air Force, HAL and other PSU, airlines, aircraft maintenance orgs, private sector aviation and ancillary industry, educational institutes, IT companies in engineering business units, etc. AE graduates have also good scope abroad.

There are many best institutions in India for aerospace engineering. But it seems, you'll not be eligible to get admission. So, you can try pursuing degree in another field and then you can do your Masters in aeronautical or in aerospace through GATE.

BE in aeronautical engineering is related to aircraft engineering, designing and maintenance of aircraft. You will get jobs in airlines and they offer good salaries. Also, ISRO take aeronautical engineers in space research field. The future scope is very good in this field.
