UG and PG Aeronautical Engineering degrees prepare students in designing and building aircraft and spacecraft. Aeronautical engineers handle design, manufacturing and maintenance of aircraft, helicopters & UAV. There are lots of good career opportunities on completion of Aeronautical engineering. With increased emphasis on Make in India Initiative and opening of Defense sector to private industry, opportunities for good Aeronautical engineers for next two decade are very high. You can join DRDO/ ISRO/ Aviation manufacturing or its ancillary units/ Airlines/ Indian Air Force/ Educational Institutes/ R&D Units / IT companies etc

Robotics will be a better option as it consists of mechanical, electrical and computer science engineering which deals precisely with the construction, design, application and operations of Robots. This is the field right now which has got applications almost everywhere. More and more automated machines are taking place of humans to work in a hazardous environment and efficiency is also high. In order to become an aeronautical engineer, you will also need the emotional and intellectual capacity to complete all of the necessary academic work.
They are individuals that have a keen academic interest in aviation, aircraft and flight technology; they tend to read over and above what is taught in the classroom.
Students need to appear in JEE Main to get the admission in UG programme. For admission to PG engineering courses like M.Tech candidates have to appear in GATE exam.

There are several universities and colleges that offer aeronautical or aerospace engineering courses. Amongst them, the most famous ones are the IITs, SRM, and PEC University of Technology. For the government colleges, you have to give the JEE Mains Examination and obtain a reasonably good rank. For entry into IITs, the JEE Advance examination has to be given and the rank in that should be less than 3000 to get Aerospace in an IIT.
