Chandigarh University is best. It's ICAR registered
Most of the faculty is doctorate
As far as placements are concerned, one can get placed in either
Government sector I. e Agriculture, Banking and more are recruiting graduates to fill up entry level posts. Private Sector- Graduates may find jobs as Jr. Managers at Plantations, as Executive at Fertilizer Manufacturing firms, Agricultural Machinery Industries, Agricultural Products Marketing firms, Food processing units etc.

You have to check for the eligibility first if you are applicable for the said course and then you have to appear in the entrance test namely Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET), conducted by Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).
You will get the admission based upon your selection in the list.

Hi, Yes, You are eligible to pursue agricultural engineering. A candidate aspiring for career in agricultural engineering must complete his/her +2 Science with Physics Chemistry Mathematics or Biology. Most agricultural institutes/universities conduct entrance examination for admission to BE/B.Tech programme in agricultural engineering. Some may consider the marks obtained in + 2 qualifying examination for selection. All the best.

It is not accredited by the ICAR. Consider universities and colleges that are accredited by the ICAR. Because it will be beneficial for your future and higher education. Chandigarh University is succeeding well with all types of academics, despite SRM being a good college. Students are very interested in pursuing a B. S. in agriculture. It is taught at various private universities. It's great if you get the chance to study at CU.
