Hello Bushings,
How many marks in GATE will fetch you seat in a PG course is hazardous to guess. Normally, cutoffs are announced along with result. Your first priority should be to get marks more than cutoff. However, to get admission in good college, you need to have really good score. Only this will fetch you admission in the desired institute.

You can join MBA after any graduation. Secondly, study the specialisations and their scope in future. Farm machinery has got more scope than food processing in the world. Weigh the things and then take decision.
