In India, the avg. Air Hostess salary in India is Rs. 5.9 LPA in India. It depends on - airline, experience and skills of a person to determine their salary.
The salary of an Air Hostess is based on the type of flights they work for like International flights are high paying if we compare to domestic flights as they include long hours.

The Air Hostess qualification for girls and boys is pretty much similar. For example, Class 12 from any stream is mandatory, with a certification or degree that is DGCA-approved. The age limit is also similar for both girls and boys, only there's a minor height difference, which is a minimum of 155 cm (for girls) and 170 cm (for boys). The physical and medical fitness requirements, on the other hand, are the same for both genders.

You can join a cabin crew training course if the academy accepts you, but to work as actual cabin crew you must pass airline medical tests, which require full mobility and fitness for safety duties. If your disability limits these abilities, airlines may not hire you, though related roles in hospitality or ground services may be open.

Yes, the courses for Flight Attendant and Cabin Crew can be different, as most institutes design their own programs with a specialised curriculum and syllabus.
The difference between a Flight Attendant and a Cabin Crew course is that a Cabin Crew course provides vast knowledge, including flight attendant duties, aviation management, ground staff, and so on. Meanwhile, a Flight Attendant course only teaches about the duties of Flight Attendants and Air Hostesses.

I don't think so. The basic qualification requirements for both girls and boys are the same. Though age, height & weight, or physical fitness & health parameters for both genders can differ. Based on the college or course you are choosing, you can check the accurate eligibility requirements from the institute's official website.
Hope this helps!!!

Other than the course fees, you'll also need to pay for miscellaneous charges like accommodation, travel, food, and so on. So, analyze your budget and plan accordingly. There are many great Air Hostess institutes in India as well.
