AMU BTech Firm List 3 is out. Selected candidates must accept the admission and pay the admission fee between Jul 27 and Jul 28. The last day as a grace period with a fine for admission and payment of fee is Jul 29. AMU releases Firm Lists containing the names of provisionally selected candidates for the further process for AMU admission 2023 to UG, PG and Diploma courses on the official website. The process of preparation and display of more AMU BTech Firm Lists will be held only in the case of vacant seats.

AMU Firm List has been released for courses, including BSc, BCom, BA LLB and Diploma courses between Jul 8 and Jul 10. Selected candidates must accept the admission and pay the admission fee between Jul 11 and Jul 13. The last day as a grace period with a fine for admission and payment of fee is Jul 14. Earlier, AMU released BTech Firm List 1 on Jul 5. Every year, AMU releases department/ faculty of study-wise lists of provisionally selected candidates followed by the release of Firm Lists, which goes up to Round 8 for some courses.

The cutoff trend for medical Courses at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University has been decreasing in the recent years. In 2021, the closing rank for medical courses under the General category for all India quota was 182858. In 2022, it decreased to 6205. "Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University will release 4-5 rounds of NEET cutoffs for admission to medical courses. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:
- The NEET score of the candidate
- The category of the candidate
- The number of seats available in the course

For last year, the closing rank for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) was 6205 which is very close to this range. This was for the General category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut-offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission to Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University.

The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University other than General category are - 468194 for PWD. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in NEET exam, the last cut-offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State.
