In some of the courses offered at Aligarh Muslim University, there will be no admission test/ departmental test. The admissions for these courses will be based solely on qualifying examinations. The concerned department/faculty will share the qualifying examination and admission criteria with the applicants only. The following courses are offered through Non-Test mode i.e. Based on candidates' performance in Qualifying Examination: PG Diploma in Journalism, IPR, Travel & Tourism Management, Fitness & Yoga Studies, Marketing Management, Entrepreneurship & Management, Corporate Laws & Industrial Relations. PG Diploma in Taxation & Accounting, Advance Diploma in Solar Engineering & Management P. G. Diploma in Nutrition & Dietetics P. G. Diploma in Industrial Safety & Fire Prevention P. G. Diploma in Quality Control & Management P. G. Diploma in Cupping Therapy (Hijamah) P. G. Diploma in Food Technology (Processing & Preservation) P. G. Diploma in Business Analytics Diploma in Wound Care & Dressings.

The two programmes offered by Aligarh Muslim University are a Ph.D. in Pharmacology and the Advance Diploma in Pharmacy (Unani). The B.Pharma course is not offered by AMU. The fee structure for Aligarh Muslim University's Diploma programme for the academic year 2023-2024 has not yet been made available. Candidates who want to stay up to date on the fee structure can constantly visit the official website. Through the NEET entrance exam, candidates can apply for admission to the Advance Diploma in Pharmacy. The candidate must have passed Class 12 or an equivalent exam in Physics Chemistry Biology and Mathematics from a recognised institution or board in order to be eligible to apply for the programme.
