Yes, definitely you are eligible to apply for B.Sc. In Anaesthesia after diploma in anaesthesia. For admission into a Bachelor's degree, the applicant must complete 12th standard in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology subject from a recognized board. Some institutes might also need the rank obtained in entrance examination. The duration of the course is usually three years.

Career in this field remains bright. You have lots of option after anesthesia: Pain fellowship Critical care Cardiac anesthesia Freelance Average pay around 2 LPA where demand is increasing, like in tier 2 and 3 city and town area.

Otherwise 1 to 1.5 LPA. It is for anesthesia only, no fellowship included.

You need to get MBBS degree to get into anesthesia. MD Anesthesia (3 years) is a postgraduate degree and MBBS (5.5 years) is an undergraduate degree. Because in allopathic medical sciences, MBBS is the graduation degree and anesthesia is the post graduation degree, also called as PG or MD/MS/DNB. So to go for PG one must have UG degree which is MBBS. Its like you cannot go for M.Sc. maths without doing B.Sc.

For making a career in Anesthesia, you should have completed MBBS degree, students can apply for the postgraduate programme in Anesthesia. Becoming an anesthesiologists requires good subject command in all the core medical subjects and extensive study & practical work in the subjects of Anesthesiology.
