No, Anna University BTech admission 2025 is based on the TNEA counselling round. For Anna University BE admission also, candidates need to appear for the TNEA counselling. TNEA written exam has been scrapped and the counselling is based on Class 12 marks. Anna University allocates seats on the basis of the TNEA rank list.TNEA is conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Tamil Nadu to offer admissions to candidates in various engineering colleges in the state of Tamil Nadu. No, Anna University is not accepting applications for undergraduate and postgraduate courses for the academic year 2023. The admission process for the academic year 2023 will be open after the declaration of Class 12 results. Candidates seeking admission must visit the official website of the University on a regular basis to Anna University admission to most of the courses is entrance-based and depends on candidates' performance in a few national-level entrance exam scores.

The Anna University will host the TNEA 2023 (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) examination. Candidates can apply through this for admission to a variety of UG engineering programmes, including B.E./B.Tech degree programmes. Every year, a state-level admissions process is carried out.
The admission of students to all the programmes is through a Single Window Admission System, administered by Anna University. The higher secondary marks are scaled to 200, based on which the merit list/ ranks are released. Counseling is conducted based upon the ranking.

The candidates can easily get into the College of Engineering, Anna University. You only have to score 95% + marks in the 10+2 classes from a recognized board. The Cutoff for the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions Exam (TNAE) is about 85% for the College. However, there is no entrance exam for admission to engineering courses at Anna University, and allotment is done on the basis of merit.

To take admission into the MCA course at College of Engineering, Anna University you have to go through the Common Entrance Exam, Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET).
Applicants with the Undergraduate degree with a minimum of 50% score can get into to apply for the course.
