To clear the Anna University counselling cut off 2026 for HSTES, you have to first register for the JEE Main entrance examination, followed by appearing for the exam. After this, since you want admission to this university, you have to apply for the HSTES counselling process using your attained JEE Main rank.
Please note that the HSTES counselling cutoff is released for different categories for the engineering courses and that the cutoff ranks vary for each course, category, seat allotment round, etc.

Anna University TNEA cutoff 2025 for the OBC AI category ranged from 140 to 39121 in the first round for the BE CSE course. By the final round, the cutoff for the same course varied between 140 and 91013.
For the BE in Electronics and Communication Engineering course, the overall cutoff ranged from 375 to 107647. To know the Anna University last round cutoff range for different engineering programmes for the OBC AI category, students can refer to the table below.

No, we cannot say you will have a confirmed chance of admission to Anna University if you meet the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET cutoff. But, if you do clear the cutoff, your chances of admission will be increased depending on your category and the course you have chosen.
For example, for the General HS category, admissions were capped at a rank of 72606 according to the Anna University AP EAMCET cutoff 2025. Hence, you need at least 72606 rank to be eligible for admission; the lower your rank is than this, the higher your chance of admission.
Note: Other categories, courses, rounds, etc., will have different cutoffs.

If your Andhra Pradesh EAMCET rank is 29000 and you belong to the General HS category, then you might be able to get a seat for the BE course. For this category, the last round cutoff ranged from 19834 to 72606. Students can refer to the table below to know which courses they can apply for with this rank.

If you're not able to receive OTP while applying at Anna University Chennai, try resending or reloading the sent OTP. Wait for atleast 15-20 minutes or change the current netword settings. If this does not fix the problem of OTP not getting loaded, try using a different Email Id or phone no.
