As per the official guidelines issued by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), candidates appearing for the EAMCET exam are not allowed to wear any kind of headgear, such as burqas, scarfs, or caps, except for religious reasons. If a candidate wishes to wear a headscarf or burqa for religious reasons, they must report to the exam center 30 minutes before the start of the exam and complete the necessary formalities, including verification of their identity and the religious headgear they will be wearing. The cutoff for Andhra Pradesh EAMCET will be released along with the result notification. Candidates can also find the cutoff marks on their scorecards. The qualifying percentage of marks for Andhra Pradesh EAMCET is 25% of the maximum marks considered for the ranking. However, for candidates belonging to the Scheduled Caste and the Scheduled Tribe, no minimum qualifying mark is prescribed. But their admission will be limited to the extent of seats reserved for such categories.

No, there is no negative marking in AP EAMCET. The candidates can attempt the questions without the fear of marks getting cut. However, it is recommended not to solve and answer the questions that the candidate is not confident about, as an incorrect response results in a waste of time.
