In Maharashtra CAP counselling for Architecture and Engineering:

  • CRL (Common Rank List) is used for General category (open) seats.

  • EWS category rank is used for seats reserved under EWS quota.

The total tuition fee for IIT Kharagpur BArch is INR 10 lakh. Candidates need to pay the course fee at the time of admission to confirm their seats. BArch fee consists of other components such as caution deposit, exam fee, tuition fee, etc. The previous fee details have been sourced from the official website/sanctioning body being subject to change and may no longer be accurate.

Yes, if you have PCM in my 12th grade, you can definitely apply to Chandigarh University's Industrial Design program. All you have to do is confirm that you fit the requirements for eligibility. A minimum of 50% in any stream an accredited board is required for admission to Chandigarh University's Industrial Design program. The course costs 99000 rs per semester and lasts for four years. Other fees include security and the examination fee. Scholarships are warded based on your performance in Chandigarh University's CUCET exam.

To get into MBS College for BArch course, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the institute. Students must pass Class 12 with a 45% aggregate with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Students are selected based on NATA + Merit.

From what I've seen in the Industrial Design course at Chandigarh University, students can branch out into different areas once they get through the basics. The main specialisations are Product Design, Transportation Design, and UI/UX Design. Product Design is more about furniture, appliances, and lifestyle items.
