Admission to VIT Vellore BArch programme is based on a valid NATA score. The shortlisted applicants will be called for counselling (virtual or physical) during which candidates undergo GDPI/ Skill Test. VIT Vellore prepares a final merit list on the basis of NATA scores, Class 12 aggregate and performance in GDPI/ Skill Test.

No, VIT Vellore does not offer direct admission to BArch programme based on Class 12 scores. Candidates need to possess a valid NATA score to apply. However, the final selection of students subjects to the cumulative calculation of NATA scores, Class 12 aggregate and performance in GDPI/ Skill Test.

There are different entrance exams accepted by Centre for Environmental Planning and Technology University. These exams include the following:
BDes Courses: UCEED and CEED
BArch Courses: NATA
BTech Courses- JEE Main or GUJCET:
For BUD (Bachelor of Urban Design) courses, CEPT administers its aptitude test to evaluate candidates' suitability for urban design studies.
Beyond specific entrance exams, CEPT University maintains general eligibility criteria:
- A minimum of 50% marks in 12th board exams is necessary for admission to various undergraduate programs.
